I must have heard this almost two decades ago. Two decades! It still sounds as solid as when I first heard it. Slash's guitar riffs kicks @ss. It was one of those songs that made me want to learn how to play the electric guitar.

I explored Youtube to search for more "music from my youth". The pieces chosen are not based on any chronological sequence. Just searched for whatever comes to mind. This time I thought of "Skid Row". There are three songs by Skid Row that have a deep impression on me -- "I Remember You", "18 and Life", and "Wasted Time". Each of the songs have powerful vocals and memorable guitar intros and solo riffs.

My Friend-In-Japan asked what sort of music I liked. I replied, "Rock Ballads". This is one of them:

Released in 1989. That's 17 years ago. Still sounds as great as the first time I listened to it. Sure brings back memories. More about the song, from Wikipedia.

Since Vox allows multiple photos to be selected and displayed as one selection, I was wondering if it would work for Videos. Apparently it does, but you have to click on the thumbnails to view individual videos. Here are two YouTube videos on "Steve Vai" + "Love of God" (in case you're not aware, "For The Love of God" is Vai's trademark guitar anthem):

For this example, I searched for "Eric Johnson Cliff of Dover" (from "Insert Video" in the Vox Compose menu) to see how it appears in a Vox post.
